We’re Jamie and Nick – brothers from London and the duo behind Pistache. We started Pistache back in 2003 as a UK hip-hop inspired art-and-fashion project, hustling in the underground art scene.
Over the years our work evolved into a full-blown art movement, and we’ve collaborated with major brands like The NBA, Reebok, Michael Kors, and Jeep along the way.
Our art style blends raw, visceral energy with bold, iconic imagery – some have likened Jamie’s painting vibe to Basquiat and Nick’s print style to Warhol. We never chased those comparisons, but we embrace them!
This isn’t just a new launch for us – it’s a rebirth. In recent years, we faced some serious challenges (Jamie’s battle with cancer and Nick’s fight with epilepsy). Through those struggles, art became more than just creation; it became survival.
Now, after coming out the other side, we’re pouring that passion and resilience into a new era of creativity. Armed with our hip-hop roots and a fresh perspective, we’re stepping into the world of NFTs. This is where our underground past meets the digital future.

What is NFT Art? (A Simple Guide)
NFT (Non-Fungible Token) art is a one-of-a-kind digital artwork secured on the blockchain. Think of it like a digital collectible that has a verifiable certificate of authenticity. How to Prepare for the Drop
New to NFTs or just want to make sure you’re ready? Here’s a quick guide to get set up for the Laffbone drop:
- Set Up a Crypto Wallet: To mint a Pistache NFT, you’ll need a crypto wallet (we recommend MetaMask). Download the MetaMask app or browser extension and create your wallet – be sure to safely save your secret recovery phrase during setup. Finally, fund your wallet with some Polygon (POL) or Ethereum (ETH) cryptocurrency. You’ll use POL or ETH to pay for the NFT (and a tiny transaction fee called gas).
- Mint Your NFT: When the drop goes live, use the Mint links at the top of this page to mint your Laffbone NFT (choose the Artwork Edition, Trading Card, or both!). Here’s what will happen on drop day:
- Unique Digital Art: Each NFT is a one-of-a-kind piece from our analog-meets-digital series.
- Rare Variants: Some mints will yield a special variant version (approximately 1 in 10 chance), adding rarity for some lucky collectors.
- Golden Ticket: By minting, you’re automatically entered for a chance to win the original Laffbone painting (announced after the drop).
- Physical Collectibles: At the same time, we’re dropping limited Laffbone prints and T-shirts. If you want the physical items, grab them quickly from our shop so you can own the art in real life too.
